If you write and perform your own songs, this contest is for you! Whether you’re an acoustic solo artist or perform with minimal accompaniment, this is your moment to shine.
Entry Requirements
- Original Songs Only: Your submission must be an original composition written and performed by you.
- Live or Recorded Performance: Upload a live recording, music video, or creative showcase of your song.
- Lyrics Matter: Your song should have a strong lyrical focus and tell a compelling story.
Judging Criteria
Our panel of judges will evaluate submissions based on:
- Songwriting: Originality, lyrics, and storytelling.
- Musicality: Melody, arrangement, and vocal/instrumental performance.
- Emotional Connection: How well your song resonates with listeners.
- Performance & Presentation: The authenticity and creativity of your submission.

How to Enter
- Create Your Performance: Choose a Soul song or compose an original piece that reflects your musical talent and passion.

- Promote Your Entry: Share your performance on social media to gather votes. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #SingerSongwriterShowcase to gather votes.

Contest Terms and Conditions
- Eligibility: The contest is open to individuals worldwide, except for employees of Djaminn, sponsoring companies, their agencies, and their immediate family members. Participants under 18 must have permission from their legal guardians to claim prizes.
- Submission Guidelines: All entries must be published for the first time during the contest period and adhere to contest rules. Multiple entries are allowed. Each submission must include the hashtag #SoulMusicContest in the description.
- Copyrights: Participants must ensure all works used are either original, in the public domain, or properly licensed. Clear references for copyrighted materials must be provided. In the event of copyright infringement claims, Djaminn reserves the right to forfeit the prize or deduct damages from the prize amount.
- Liability: Djaminn, its related/affiliated companies, and their respective officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any claims, damages, costs, losses, or expenses arising directly or indirectly from participation in the competition.
- Press and Media: Participants shall not grant any interviews or discuss their participation with the press or other media without prior written consent from Djaminn.
- Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via email by March 10, 2024. If a winner does not respond within 30 days, their prize will be forfeited.
- Data Usage: By entering, participants agree to allow Djaminn to use their personal data for contest administration and promotional purposes. For inquiries regarding data protection, please contact Djaminn’s Protection Officer at support@djaminn.com.
- Media Release: Participants grant Djaminn the right to use their name, likeness, and performance for promotional purposes, including recordings, audio, visuals, and photographs.
- General Rules: Djaminn reserves the right to disqualify participants for non-compliance with rules or for any inappropriate content. Djaminn further reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or amend the contest without liability or prior notice.
