Fuel The Music: Building the Future of Live Music Support

Hats off to Fuel the Music in Manchester UK. You will respect what they are doing for musicians.

While setting up our upcoming live sessions at Fabwick in London (recording 80+ bands over 10 days with our professional multi-camera setup), we discovered Fuel The Music (FTM) – and their approach to supporting UK artists immediately caught our attention.

FTM has created something special in Manchester. Their venue isn’t just another music spot – it’s a proper creative hub where artists actually want to hang out and connect. With a fully rigged stage, professional sound engineers, and proper backstage facilities, they’ve built the kind of space that helps artists level up their live performances. Plus, their policy of giving bands 100% of the door money shows they’re serious about putting artists first.

What really sets them apart is their sustainable funding model. Through their partnership with Camden Brewery, they ensure 20p from every pint sold at participating venues goes directly into artist development. These funds support exactly what emerging artists need – rehearsal space, recording time, and support for out-of-town gigs. By turning regular bar sales into artist funding, they’ve cracked a way to make grassroots music support sustainable.

Great partnership gives back to musicians

This practical approach to artist support perfectly complements what we’re doing at Djaminn. We’re currently exploring ways to combine our technology and global reach with FTM’s growing network in the north. Think professional multi-camera live streams from dedicated music venues, reaching worldwide audiences while generating real support for artists.

What makes this collaboration particularly interesting is the audience we collectively reach – young, engaged music fans and emerging artists across the UK. FTM’s Manchester venue is already proving how this community-focused approach creates authentic connections between artists, venues, and music fans.

Following our Fabwick sessions, we’ll be working with FTM to develop this partnership further. For brands looking to connect with the next generation of music makers and fans, this collaboration offers an exciting opportunity to be part of something genuinely supporting the UK music scene.

Stay tuned for updates as we develop our plans with FTM to create more opportunities for emerging artists across the UK.
